About Text Match Cut Maker
A free, private way to make the newspaper highlight effect.
TextMatchCut.in is a free tool for making the newspaper text match cut, the video style where one highlighted word stays perfectly still while pages of newspaper text flash around it.
Why we built it
Making this effect by hand means finding dozens of pages, lining the same word up in the exact same place in every frame, and timing the cuts. That can take hours. We wanted it to take a few seconds: type a word, press a button, and download.
How it works
The tool draws a new set of clippings with your word locked to the exact center of the frame, at the same size every time. Edges are softly blurred so your eye stays on the highlight, and a tick sound plays on each cut. You choose the format, speed, fonts and colors. The video is recorded straight from the preview.
What we care about
Private
Everything runs in your browser. Your words and videos are never uploaded.
Free
No account, no watermark and no limits on how many you make. The site is supported by ads.
Simple
One word in, one video out, with enough controls to make it your own.
Who is behind it
TextMatchCut.in is an independent project made by a solo web developer who builds small, fast, free tools. It is not connected to any newspaper or social media company. See our Disclaimer.
