Privacy Policy

1. The short version

TextMatchCut.in is a free tool that runs in your browser. You do not need an account, we do not ask for your name or email to use it, and the words you type, the settings you pick and the videos you create are processed on your own device. They are not uploaded to our servers.

The site is supported by advertising. Ad partners, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads. This policy explains what that means and how to control it.

2. What stays on your device

When you use the generator, the following is handled entirely inside your browser:

• the word or phrase you highlight and any custom text you paste;
• your look, timing, sound and format settings;
• any paper image you choose as a background, which your browser reads locally;
• the generated clippings, the preview and the video or PNG file you download.

We never receive this content, cannot see it, and cannot recover it for you. Closing the tab discards it. The only things the site remembers are two small preferences kept in your browser's local storage so they survive a refresh: whether you muted the preview sound, and the export size (HD, 2K or 4K) you picked last. They are never sent to us and you can clear them in your browser settings.

3. Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, our web host receives standard technical data when your browser requests a page or file: your IP address, the date and time, the pages and files requested, the browser and device type, and the referring page. This is recorded in server logs and is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, prevent abuse and diagnose problems. We do not use these logs to identify you personally or to build profiles.

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its advertising partners are third-party vendors. They use cookies, mobile advertising identifiers or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites, to limit how often you see the same ad, to measure ad performance and to detect fraud.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of many third-party vendors at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.com (Europe).

• For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, ads that rely on cookies or personal data are shown only in line with the choices you make in the consent message displayed on the site.

We do not sell your personal information ourselves and we have no access to the data advertisers collect. Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies involved.

5. Third-party services

• Google Fonts delivers the typefaces used on the site. Your browser requests them from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address and browser details. See the Google Privacy Policy.
• Google AdSense as described above.
• Our web host processes server logs on our behalf.

The site contains no social media widgets and no embedded video players. If we add analytics or other services in the future, we will update this page first.

6. If you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not add you to mailing lists and we do not share your message with advertisers.

7. Children

The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email contact@textmatchcut.in and we will delete it.

8. Your rights and choices

Because the tool works on your device and we hold almost no personal data, there is usually nothing for us to retrieve or delete. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data protection authority. This includes rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

• Ad personalization: use Google Ads Settings or the consent message on the site, and clear or block cookies in your browser.
• California and other US states: advertising technology may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" of data under some state laws. You can opt out using the tools above or a browser signal such as Global Privacy Control.
• Any other request: email contact@textmatchcut.in. We may need to verify who you are before acting on it.

9. Retention, security and transfers

Server logs are kept for a limited period by our host and then deleted or anonymized. Emails to us are kept as long as needed to deal with your request. The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Our host and our ad partners may process data in countries other than your own, including India and the United States, under their own safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will highlight it on the site.
